This single family home was in need of a new roof. After tearing off and disposing of one layer of existing roofing materials, we removed and replaced five sheets of damaged plywood decking. We then installed two rows of an ice & water barrier near all roof eaves, valleys, chimneys, etc. In terms of shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System with IKO Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the color Patriot Slate. Further, we installed two new exhaust vent hoods with built-in dampers on the roof. We finished the job by removing and replacing the existing chimney flashing with brand new lead flashing to further protect against water penetration. This house is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!

This large single family home located in Colchester, CT was in need of a new roof. Our team started off by tearing away and disposing of one layer of roofing. After the layer of roofing was removed, we replaced 5 sheets of damaged plywood decking. We then covered the roof with an ice and water barrier. For new shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System with Dynasty Architectural Shingles in the Cornerstone colorway. In addition to the new shingles, we removed and replaced the existing vent pipe boot and installed a new exhaust vent hood. At this 1990s home located in Somers, CT we completely stripped off the existing roof and replaced it with a new roofing system. We first tore off the existing shingles and roofing material and hauled them to the Asphalt Roof Recycling Center to be turned into asphalt pavement for roads.

We then replaced any damaged plywood decking and laid down Ice & Water Shield to create a moisture barrier between the decking and the shingles. For even more protection,  we installed Owens Corning ProArmor Synthetic Underlayment, a durable, tear-resistant material that is engineered to repel water and adhere to the roofing surface. For new asphalt shingles, we used Owens Corning Duration TruDefinition Shingles in the color Driftwood. To top it off, we replaced the old chimney flashing with new lead flashing and installed a VentSure Ridge Vent to provide consistent attic ventilation to the home. 

Here was a Cape Cod style house located in Tolland, CT. Country living usually means that you must be prepared to deal with wayward tree limbs, algae and the like. This charming cape cod style home was suffering from a leaking roof. This home which was built in the 1950s had old-style single tabbed shingles which are known for leaking. To fix the issues the homeowner was having, we completely stripped the old roof and installed a new Owens Corning Roof System. We first replaced any damaged plywood decking to ensure the structure of the roof. We then laid down Owens Corning Weatherlock G Ice & Water to protect the home from the outside elements. For new shingles, we installed Owens Corning Oakridge Shingles in the color Onyx Black. To top it off, we installed a VentSure Ridge Vent to provide top-notch attic ventilation.
