In Bolton, CT, Mike had a section of his roof replaced by Klaus Larsen Roofing back in 2021. Now, in 2024, he's ready to tackle another section of his roof! After meeting with one of our trained sales representatives, Mike decided not only to complete another roof replacement but also to upgrade his home’s gutter system by installing new seamless gutters along with the RainDrop Gutter Guard system for enhanced protection.

This before-and-after highlights the chimney flashing on this section of the roof that required replacement. We began by stripping off the old chimney flashing, which was vulnerable to leaks and wear. Our team then expertly installed our durable Aluminum Lead Flashing, ensuring that this critical area is now protected from potential water damage caused by faulty or aged flashing around the chimney.

This 1978 Gambrel-style home had its original cedar shake roof that was in need of being replaced. To begin, Klaus Larsen Roofing tore off one layer of Cedar Shake Roofing and installed new plywood decking over the existing framing. Next, we installed three layers of Ice & Water Barrier near all eaves, valleys, chimneys etc. For shingles, we installed Duration TruDefinition Shingles in the color Amber. These shingles included a 10-year Algae-Resistance Limited Warranty as well as a 130 MPH Wind Resistance Limited Warranty. Lastly, we installed 3 brand new Velux FS Skylights. This attractive home is now complete with its new Klaus Larsen Roofing installation!

This Cape Cod style home in Hebron, CT was in need of a gutter & roof replacement. To start the job, Klaus Larsen Roofing tore off 1 layer of existing roofing materials and replaced 5 layers of damaged plywood decking. We then installed 3 rows of Ice & Water Barrier near all eaves, valleys, chimneys etc. In terms of shingles, we installed Duration TruDefinition Shingles in the color, Sierra Grey. In terms of shingles, we installed heavy duty Aluminum Seamless Gutters by Englert, in the color Hi-Gloss White. This house is now looking better than ever thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!

This small one family home was in need of a roof replacement, so they called us at Klaus Larsen Roofing! Upon taking the job, it was made apparent that there were two layers of roofing material that needed to be stripped away. With the old shingles removed we then replaced 5 damaged sheets of plywood decking. Next, we began weatherproofing the home by laying down two rows of IKO Gold Shield Ice & Water Barrier. In addition to the Ice & Water Barrier, we also installed Roof-Gard Cool Grey Synthetic Underlayment as it adheres to the roof's surface and does an excellent job at repelling water. For shingles, we installed a Klaus Roofing System using IKO Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the Charcoal Grey colorway. To finish the job, we installed a Shingle Vent II ridge vent pulls air out of the attic to allow the roof to ventilate. We also replaced the existing vent pipe boot with a new 3" Perma-Boot. This home's roof is made new again thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!

For new asphalt shingles, we installed IKO Dynasty Architectural Shingles featuring a 1-1/4" nailing area made with a tough reinforcing woven band for incredible nail-holding power to protect the home against Mother Nature's fury.
