This West Hartford house underwent several renovations, and we were enthusiastic about providing a roof to top off this home makeover project. These shingles were the perfect touch for their remodeling. 

At this 1930s Colonial-style home located in West Hartford, CT it got a brand new Klaus Larsen roofing system. We first stripped off the existing roofing materials and replaced 4 sheets of plywood decking that had water damage. To ensure that no moisture is able to pass through to the interior of the home, we laid down Ice & Water Shield. For shingles, we installed architectural-style asphalt shingles Shingles in the color Slatestone Gray. To ensure that the attic has top-notch consistent ventilation we used Owens Corning Ventsure Ridge Vents. 

This colonial style home in West Hartford, CT had a 22 year old roof when the homeowners contacted Klaus Larsen. Low to the ground, this roof was in need of a replacement. A small leak was a definite concern for these homeowners. Two layers of roofing materials were torn off and all damaged plywood was replaced. Three rows of Ice & Water was installed. A white aluminum drip edge/rake flashing was installed along the entire outside perimeter of the roof. The chimney flashing was removed and replaced with new, lead flashing. An existing vent pipe boot was replaced with a new 3" Perma-Boot in Black. The finishing touch were the architectural-style asphalt shingles , in the color of Colonial Slate.

This single family home in West Hartford, CT was in need of a roof replacement and sought the work of Klaus Larsen Roofing. We started by tearing off one layer of existing roofing material, and 3 layers of damaged plywood decking. We then installed 3 rows of Ice & Water Barrier near all eaves, valleys, chimneys, as well as the entire sunroom roof deck. In terms of shingles, we installed a traditional gay ashphalt shincle. Further, we installed a custom bent aluminum flashing detail on the eave of the roof near the sunroom, to prevent leaking. We finished by removing and replacing flashing on the chimney with brand new lead flashing. This house is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!
