R.V in Olton, Texas, called Fortenberry Roofing Co. in need of a roof inspection due to severe weather that could have possibly damaged the roof's integrity. 

Robbie, FRC Sales Consultant, was scheduled to visit the home and conduct a comprehensive inspection to ensure the homeowner was fully informed about the condition of his roof and to provide a detailed estimate for any necessary repairs or replacement. 

After Robbie and R.V discussed the findings of the inspection, the option for a roof replacement is what was agreed upon.  The homeowner chose Class 4 IKO Dynasty Shingles in Shadow Brown, with the necessary protective roof lining and moisture barrier to ensure that the integrity of the roof will be maintained throughout the years. Robert, Production Manager, and the roofing crew were set to start working on the home by removing all old shingles along with the underlayment. They started with the placement of the VeloraOne Synthetic Underlayment and then moved to the installation of the asphalt shingles thatR.V chose. 

The day ended with a completed roof replacement, and R.V was pleased. 

Gaf ArmorShield Triumphs Over Wood Shake

The wood shake (wood shingle) roof of Vickie's house had been totaled by the insurance company due to hail damage. When she got in contact with Fortenberry Roofing they worked together to set an appointment for her to get a free re-roof estimate. Fortenberry Roofing was able to work with Vickie's insurance company in order to get her all she was owed for her new roof. She chose to go from a wood shake (wood shingle) roof to an asphalt shingled roof. The re-roof crew installed new GAF ArmorShielf shingles in the color Antique Slate and a matching modified roofing system on the flat sections in a matching color that complimented the rest of her house perfectly. 

Skylight

This skylight had been shattered by pea and golf ball size hail in the Anton, TX area. The homeowners were able to file a claim with their home insurance company to get this skylight and a few others replaced on their home. Since the homeowners had previously worked with Fortenberry Roofing, they reached out to them again to make the repairs their home was in need of. Fortenberry Roofing sent a repair crew to the property to replace the double domed skylights. There were 3 total in total. After the job was complete, the skylights looked great and the clients were once again happy with Fortenberry Roofing's ability to provide quality service.

Chimney Cricket!      

 In Cotton Center, TX, Carl had been dealing with leaks on a small section of ridge that no other roofing company he reached out to could find or fix properly. Thankfully he was able to get in touch with Fortenberry Roofing who were able to find the leaks and repair the ridge properly once and for all! Included with the repair, the crew for Fortenberry Roofing removed the old makeshift ridge shingles, found the leak, repaired the leak, installed ice and water shield underlayment, then installed proper ridge and matching CertainTeed Landmark shingles in the color Colonial Slate.

Parapet Protection

Homeowners in Shallowater, TX needed repairs made to the parapet wall and nearby shingles on their roof. Fortenberry Roofing had previously made repairs to another area of their roof so they decided to call them again for this job. Fortenberry's repair team took the old improper flashing from the parapet wall off and installed new flashing and shingles that will protect the roof from water damage. The team also added metal coping caps to the edge (top) of the parapet wall and painted them in a color that complimented the entire property. Now, this home is protected from leaks due to the proper flashing that was installed.
