The roof lost many shingles in a big windstorm. We inspected the roof and determined that the entire roof needed replacement. Our specialist advocated for the homeowner with the insurance company so that homeowner could replace the entire roof.
We replaced the entire ridge cap and vent on this house in Cudahy
Tom reached out to Klaus Roofing Systems by Buck Buckley after discovering a leak in his roof, left behind by a previous contractor who did not complete the work effectively or properly. Frustrated by past experiences with unreliable contractors, Tom did his homework—reading reviews and reaching out to local companies. He ultimately chose us because of our strong reputation and the quick, reliable responses he received from our team.
We started by providing Tom with a free inspection and a detailed quote for the necessary roof repairs. Throughout the project, we maintained open communication with Tom and his wife, ensuring they understood every step of the process and answering any questions they had along the way.
Our team took a thorough approach to the roof replacement. We began by carefully preparing the property, moving breakable items away from the eaves, and protecting the space with tarps. We then removed the existing roofing, addressed rotted or damaged wood, and reinforced the structure with new cdx plywood. To enhance protection, we installed KRS SealoronXT Ice & Water Protector, VeloraONE Synthetic Underlayment, and F8 aluminum drip metal. The new IKO Dynasty architectural lifetime shingles provided a durable, Class 3 impact-resistant finish, giving Tom’s home a fresh, polished look.
By the end of the project, Tom was relieved to finally have a high-quality roof installed by professionals he could trust. The seamless communication and the lasting results gave him peace of mind, knowing his home was well-protected against Wisconsin’s harsh weather conditions.
This home had a ridge vent that was getting old and not working properly, causing bad ventilation. This may have been due to a low-quality product and was not a ridge vent Klaus Roofing by Buck Buckley would use or recommend. We replaced their low-quality ridge vent with a longer-lasting, higher-quality ridge vent.
This homeowner wanted larger kitchen and bath vents and also wanted to supply almost all of the materials we needed. So Ralph from the KRS team did a lot of work with them to get their venting hooked up exactly as they wanted. In this before and after, you'll see some smaller vents on their roof as well as the larger ones we replaced them with.
