At this late 1960's home in Madison, CT we replaced the roof and replaced the flashing along the chimney with new lead flashing. To ensure that the home is completely protected from outside moisture we installed new Owens Corning Weatherlock G Ice & Water Shield on the bottom layer of the roof. We then laid down ProArmor Synthetic Underlayment. This durable, tear-resistant material is engineered to repel water and to adhere to the roofing surface. On the final layer, we installed new Owens Corning Duration Shingles in the color Slatestone Gray. To ensure proper ventilation to the attic we put in a new VentSure Ridge Vent. These homeowners can now face winter worry-free. 

This ranch-style home in Madison, CT was in need of a new roof. After tearing off one layer of existing roof material, we replaced 5 sheets of damaged plywood decking. We then installed flashing tape to all joints on the entire roof deck, in accordance with the new building code requirements. We also installed 2 rows of ice & water barrier near all eaves, valleys, chimneys etc. In terms of shingles, we installed Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the color Weatherwood. Lastly, we removed and replaced chimney flashing with brand new lead flashing. This house is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!

Here we are in the thick of a project in Wethersfield, CT. The removal of your old roof can be quite the ordeal, but we keep the mess to a minimum with closely placed tarps. For this Wethersfield, CT project we tore off the existing roofing materials to be recycled. All debris was meticulously cleaned up, including nails which were picked up by a magnetic roller. In order to create a full moisture barrier, we installed three rows of Owens Corning Weatherlock G Ice & Water shield in addition to Synthetic Underlayment. This is a durable, tear-resistant material engineered to repel water and adhere to the roofing surface. We finished the project by installing a Copper Cat Algae Terminator on the rear roof above the porch. This double-sided copper strip prevents any growth of algae, moss or mold.
