Middletown, CT Roof Replacement

Brian, a homeowner in Middletown, CT, owns this beautiful white home with a 23-year-old asphalt roof. The old brown shingles, showing dark streaks and faded colors, clearly showed that the roof was past its prime. After 23 years, roofs can develop serious issues like rotting plywood, leaks, and moss-covered shingles, which is why Brian decided it was time for a replacement to keep his home safe and sound. To ensure maximum protection, we installed the Ice & Water SealoronXT, which covers the roof’s most vulnerable areas like edges and valleys. This barrier provides essential defense against rain, ice, and snow—preventing water from seeping in and causing costly damage. We also applied Velora One Roof Underlayment across the rest of the roof, adding an extra layer of security beneath the shingles. Even if a shingle is lifted during a storm, the underlayment keeps water from reaching the decking, ensuring long-term protection against leaks.

This before-and-after transformation highlights how new shingles can completely revamp a home’s look. By choosing the popular IKO Granite Black shingles, Brian’s home now has a sleek, modern appearance, enhancing the cool tones of the exterior and making that vibrant red door pop!

Full Roof Replacement in East Granby, CT

Here was a gorgeous Colonial in East Granby, CT that had been suffering from an underperforming roof. Algae and moss were making a home in the seams between the 3-Tab shingles, which do not overlap like the architectural style that we work with. The underlying structure which the roof is supported by, otherwise called the decking, was refreshed with new CDX plywood. To prevent any stealth leaking we also re-flashed a medium-sized chimney. The shingles are made of an algae-resistant material, so this house will look (and perform) great for years to come!
