This home in Glastonbury had an old 2-layer roof that had algae and lichen growing on the shingles. Our crew tore off and replaced the roof even though it was in the middle of February. Newer shingles are more flexibility in the cold and our roofers adjust the pressure on the nail guns and technic to match the colder weather. We installed Owens Corning Duration shingles on this home. (Color: Onyx Black). We have done dozens of homes in the winter and will continue to give great quality all year long.
This Slatestone Gray roof represents the 75th roof installation that we have done in Glastonbury. We are very grateful to the homeowners who have trusted and continue to trust us with their homes!
This roof in Glastonbury was only 12 years old but it was not in good shape. It was already failing and had multiple leaks in the house. The owners had us replace the old roof with Owens Corning Oynx Black shingles with our 50-year warranty.
This duplex in Glastonbury was on the market and the owner was in the process of selling it. The roof, however, had 3-tab shingles that were old and had been patched with tar several times already. We replaced the old roof with new Owens Corning Duration shingles, replaced the chimney flashing, and vent boots. On top of all that, we remove and reinstalled the lightning rod system that was attached to the roof.
This house in Glastonbury had a large 'shed' dormer in the rear of the house and an addition with a low slope. To protect these areas from rain and ice dams, we completely covered these areas with Owens Corning Weatherlock G Ice & Water barrier. The shingles were Onyx Black Oakridge shingles.
