This beautiful two story home in Salem, CT was due for a new roof and Klaus Larsen, LLC. gave them just that! We began this project by tearing away and properly disposing of one layer of roofing material. We then inspected the roof decking, and replaced 3 damaged sheets of plywood decking. We followed this up by installing two rows of Ice & Water Barrier as well as a layer of Owens-Corning ProArmor Synthetic Underlayment to keep the house protected from wind and rain. For shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System using Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the Weatherwood colorway. We finished off the job by installing a ridge vent for attic ventilation, as well as a new vent pipe boot. This house is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!
Klaus Larsen traveled to Connecticut's quiet corner to repair and replace this Columbia roof. Cambridge Charcoal Gray shingles were installed to compliment the bold, red paint of this house. Aesthetics are never ignored!
It was April, but there was still snow on the ground in Columbia, CT. This homeowner wanted a company that could get the job done in one day, so as to avoid any issues with weather. Along with the new roof, we installed a solar powered Fresh Air Deck Velux skylight system with remote, that closes automatically at the first sign of rain. They are perfect for contemporary homes with cathedral ceilings like this one. The OC True Def Duration Brownwood color looks great on this country property.
On this home in Columbia, CT we used Shasta White shingles from the Owens Corning Duration Color series. Owens Corning roofing system have 'smart vent' technology, and for this project we also installed a remote controlled Solar Fan. This Columbia, CT home had some leaking coming from the rear section of the roof. For this project we began with new plywood, followed by a layer of ProArmorShield Synthetic Underlayment, and finished with a layer of Duration shingles. The 'after' photo was taken on an afternoon with 40+ mph winds, and these shingles aren't budging a bit.
