Darnella in Windsor, CT reached out because her roof was showing serious signs of wear. Some of the asphalt shingles were lifting and even falling off, and with the roof being roughly 40 years old, a full replacement was the best way to protect her home. Our crew removed the old shingles, inspected the decking, and replaced any boards that were compromised to create a solid foundation. We then installed SealoronXT Ice & Water along the vulnerable areas and VeloraOne Underlayment across the rest of the roof before finishing with IKO Dynasty shingles in the color Frostone Gray. The result is a durable, high-performing roof that keeps Darnella’s home protected and looking fresh for years to come.

Christopher in Windsor, CT, began looking into a roof replacement after learning that the existing roof, which was installed around 2008, was starting to show signs of age. Since moving into the home in 2011, he had kept an eye on the roof and recently became concerned after being told that certain areas were beginning to show wear and could require attention in the near future.

After finding Klaus Larsen Roofing online, Christopher scheduled an evaluation to better understand the condition of the roofing system and explore his options. Rather than wait for leaks or larger issues to develop, he chose to proactively replace the roof on both the main home and attached garage.

Our crew removed the aging roofing materials and installed a complete new roofing system designed for long-term durability and protection. As part of the project, we also added Klaus AirFlow Complete intake ventilation on the main home to help improve attic airflow. Proper ventilation plays an important role in reducing heat and moisture buildup, helping the roofing system perform more efficiently throughout the year.

The installation included SealoronXT Ice & Water Shield in vulnerable areas, VeloraONE Roof Underlayment across the roof deck, and SealoronXT Deck Tape to help provide added protection beneath the shingles.

To finish the project, Christopher selected IKO Dynasty shingles in Glacier, giving the home a bright, refreshed appearance while providing dependable protection against Connecticut’s changing weather conditions. With the new roof and improved ventilation system in place, the home is now well prepared for years of reliable performance.

This newer model Victorian home in Windsor, CT underwent a roof replacement along with brand new frieze boards. We got started by tearing off a single layer of existing roofing materials and giving the wood roof deck a thorough inspection. All decking was re-secured where it was necessary with ring-shank plywood nails, and all damaged plywood was replaced. A new roofing system was installed with extended ice & water shield, in addition to new crown molding and a reinstalled weather vane on the turret secured with exterior grade screws.  

This home located in Rocky Hill, CT was in need of a brand new roof. The shingles were suffering from old age and crumbling from wear and tear. We stripped the old roof off and replaced 3 sheets of damaged plywood decking so that the new roof would have a good foundation. We then installed 3 rows of Ice & Water Shield to ensure that the interior of the home is protected from outside moisture. For the new shingles, architectural-style asphalt shingles in the color Driftwood. To protect the chimney from any leaking going forward we replaced all of the lead flashing. 

This raised ranch built in 1974 was in need of a roof replacement. Klaus Larsen Roofing started by tearing off one layer of existing roofing materials and replacing 5 layers of damaged plywood decking. Next we installed Ice & Water Barrier near all eaves, valleys, chimneys etc. In terms of shingles, we installed Oakridge Shingles in the color Onyx Black. Lastly we removed and replaced flashing on the chimney with brand new lead flashing.
