After this customer in Newtown found a leak in their chimney, they called in the Brown Roofing team for help. Our crew re-built this chimney, and poured a new chimney crown. The original crown was worn and cracked, and the mortar had been weakened overtime. Thanks to the hard work of our team, this home is better protected, and this chimney looks and preforms great!

The Brown Roofing team installed a new Gutter Shutter System for this customer in Newtown. This incredible new system is much more durable and efficient than it's predecessor, pictured in our before photo. For this house, we did not need to do a full roof replacement because the decking layer was in good condition. The only thing on this house that needed to be replaced was the underlayment, Ice and Water, and the shingles. Due to not having to replace the decking layer we were able to save the customer money and time. As you can see in the photos it was already turning night and this customer wanted the job fully completed in one day, so we stayed later than usual to get the job done and made sure to meet their expectations to the fullest.

Our team replaced this rotting roof in Weston, CT. The first step to this roof replacement was ripping up the old shingles and taking a closer look at the decking layer. The decking layer on this house was rotting in a few locations and needed to be replaced. We ripped up the old sheets of plywood and replaced them with brand-new sheets. Next, we laid down an underlayment and Ice and Water. These two layers act as extra insulation and protection for the roof. Finally, we installed the shingles and this customer decided on our IKO Dynasty Granite Brown Stone Shingles, which transformed the home.

Our team took care of this rotting roof in Salisbury, CT in just one day. When we arrived on scene we got straight to work by ripping up the existing shingles in order to get a better look at the decking layer. Once the shingles were up and we could inspect the decking layer we decided that it needed to be replaced fully due to rot and mold growth. After we replaced the decking layer we moved on to installing the underlayment and Ice and Water. These layers help improve the integrity of the roof as well as add an extra layer of insulation.
