In Milwaukee, WI, a homeowner sought to replace their worn and aging roof to ensure their home remained well-protected and visually appealing. The team at Klaus Roofing Systems by Buck Buckley expertly removed the old materials and installed a brand-new roofing system featuring IKO Dynasty shingles in Shadow Brown. These shingles not only add durability but also complement the home’s aesthetic with a warm, classic finish.
To optimize water flow and minimize maintenance, we installed 6-inch seamless gutters with Raindrop gutter guards and upgraded the downspouts to efficiently handle heavy rainfall and debris. This combination ensures the home’s foundation stays dry and secure.
With 2,500 sq. ft. of roofing coverage, the house now stands strong against the elements, offering the homeowner peace of mind and a refreshed, polished look that enhances their property’s curb appeal.
Linda first reached out to Klaus Roofing Systems by Buck Buckley earlier in the year, hoping to replace the aging roof on her Milwaukee home. Unfortunately, due to some unexpected family matters, she had to put the project on hold. When the timing was right, Linda contacted us again, ready to move forward with her roof replacement.
Our team quickly scheduled the project, ensuring Linda felt comfortable and informed throughout the process. We began by carefully removing the existing roofing down to the wood deck, inspecting the structure, and replacing any damaged or rotted wood with durable cdx plywood. Every loose plywood piece was back-nailed to reinforce the roof’s structural integrity.
To provide maximum protection, we installed KRS SealoronXT Ice & Water Protector along all drip edges, walls, chimneys, and valleys, followed by SealoronXT deck tape on all plywood seams. VeloraONE synthetic underlayment was added across the roof, and new F8 aluminum drip metal and C4 aluminum rake metal were installed for long-lasting durability.
Linda selected IKO Dynasty architectural lifetime shingles, offering Class 3 impact resistance to withstand Milwaukee’s harsh weather conditions. We also installed Airvent Shinglevent II ridge vents to improve ventilation and new aluminum chimney flashing for added security.
Throughout the project, our team maintained open communication, answering all of Linda’s questions and ensuring she felt confident in every step. Linda couldn’t say enough about our team’s work ethic, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. She even mentioned how she wished we could handle all the projects in her home—something we truly appreciate!
We take pride in delivering not only high-quality results but also a positive, stress-free experience for every homeowner. If you’re considering a roof replacement or need a roofing inspection, contact us today to see how we can help!
This home needed a new roof! It was over 20 years old and had a leak that was coming into her house and damaging her drywall ceiling. This was due to shingle and underlayment failure, and wanted to remodel their kitchen but couldn't get that work done until the leak and roof were fixed. So, we solved the leak issue by doing a partial roof replacement on the front of the house only. Thanks to Ice and water protector, CoolGrey synthetic underlayment, and IKO Dynasty shingles, she'll never have to worry about leaks in the front of her house ever again!
This roof had a leak running into a bedroom! Not only did we find several patch jobs, but we also found lots of rotted wood once we installed the new roof.
Customer needed a full replacement of garage roof. We removed all layers of old roofing material and replaced with new IKO Dynasty architectural lifetime shingles. Fascia wrap on rakes and back eave were also replaced with new fascia board.
