We replaced the chimney flashing that a previous contractor improperly installed.
This homeowner's roof was leaking, and what we found out worried us. After opening up the leaking area we noticed the previous roofing company decided to place a new sheet of wood over already rotting wood. This is a big no-no. Your roof is protection for you and your family. When there is damage, it needs to be addressed and properly fixed. We went in and properly fixed and resealed the chimney with new chimney flashing. Keeping this homeowner leak free and most importantly happy.
Soffits can rot out like this if there is a leak above them. We replaced the soffit and fascia boards in preparation for this customer to sell their home.
Storm damage caused this roof to leak. Klaus Roofing followed up with a partial roof replacement of the damaged areas caused by the storm. We also, took the time to replace cracked sealant, vent hoods and broken flashing due to old age.
Doug Einerson's roof in Waukesha, WI, required a partial replacement due to its age of 18 years. The project involved a 12-square replacement on the rear section, including the installation of new ridge vents and edge metals. Special attention was given to wrapping ice and water down over the fascia in preparation for new Leaf Guard gutters. Additionally, one 3-inch and one 4-inch Permaboot were replaced. On the west side behind the garage, trim nails had caused small holes in the shingles, which were removed and sealed. Doug provided three soffit vents for installation—one over the front porch window and two along the rear soffit. The large chimney and two skylights were in good condition and did not require reflashing. The new roof section was completed using IKO Dynasty AR shingles in Biscayne, with Desert Tan drip edges, ensuring both durability and aesthetic appeal.
