This project in Coventry, CT involved the removal of 3-Tab shingles on both a home, breeze way, garage and additional detached garage, built around 1960. All structures were roofed in the same method, with Owens Corning True Def Duration Onyx Black shingles. Part of our structural repairs involved removing the wood stove chimney and sealing the opening with plywood. Along with a ridge vent, we replaced all vent pipe boots and flashed the chimney with lead.
This home in Coventry had an old roof with vast problems underneath. Most of the plywood was ruined from water and mold. Also, the bathroom fans blew out of the soffit and not through the roof vent. When the roof was torn off, the damaged plywood was removed and new bathroom exhaust fans were installed.
Our crew installed the new roof on the main house and the garage with Owens Corning Oakridge Shingles in the color Brownwood. This project included replacing all damaged plywood decking on the roof as well as repairing siding on the home.
This contemporary home in Coventry, CT was in need of a new aspahlt shingle roof. After tearing off one layer of existing roofing material, we replaced 5 damaged sheets of plywood decking. We then covered the entire roof deck with two rows of ice & water barrier. For shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System with IKO Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the color Dual Brown. We finished the job by removing and replacing the existing flashing on the chimney with brand new lead flashing. This house is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!

We then inspected the roof decking and found 5 damaged sheets of plywood decking that were then replaced. With the decking repaired, we installed two rows of Ice & Water Barrier as well as a layer of Synthetic Underlayment to protect the house from rain and snow.
