When we pulled back the roof all the way down to the framing, we noticed one side of the roof was in need of a frame and insulation replacement, which is where we started. We then replaced the shingles and underlayment for the whole roof with our KRS Sealoron XT Premium Ice/Water Shield and KRS Velora One Synthetic Underlayment. Then we did a full shingle replacement with IKO Dynasty Architectural shingles in Frostone Grey.
This section of the roof that we replaced does not receive much light. This was causing moss and algae to grow, and even stubborn weeds in their gutters. When we replaced this roof, we made sure this section recieved the proper care it deserved, as it was the section most susceptible to damage. We gave it the proper care by replacing the decking underneath this section with adequate wood specifications, installing proper weather-resistant underlayments, and very secure flashings. We topped it off with our IKO shingles in an Atlantic Blue shade.
The vent pipe on this Walton, KY home was old and rusty. Klaus Roofing of Cincinnati replaced the pipe and the flashing around it.
Bonnie of Petersburg, Kentucky, had a roof leak in her home. Desperate to make it stop, she called Klaus Roofing Systems of Cincinnati. We inspected the roof and found that the leak was coming from several of its vents.
When we removed the shingles while the job was in progress, we found that the decking had wood rot in several places. We replaced all the affected decking, the shingles, and updated the vent caps.
We did a full roof replacement for this roof, since the existing roof was beginning to rapidly fall apart. We used IKO Dynasty shingles in a summit grey shade. All the details are what make a Klaus Roof a Klaus Roof.
