Moss grows on areas of the roof that don't receive much sunlight. In this case, the shed was covered with shade from a neighboring tree and the one side of the roof was facing north. We replaced this roof the Klaus way by replacing the decking, installing our underlayments, and installing IKO Dynasty shingles. Important to note: we also filled in the skylights which is why they can't be seen in the after photo.
This homeowner was getting ready to sell the home and needed to replace the roof prior to putting it on the market.
Shingles: IKO Dynasty Shadow Brown
We did a full roof replacement on this home all the way down to the sheathing, which was in really bad shape. We then added new underlayment with KRS Sealoron XT Premium Ice/Water Shield and KRS Velora One Synthetic Underlayment. Then we did a full shingle replacement with IKO Dynasty Architectural shingles in Dual Grey. We also replaced the gutters with ours equipped with Rain Drop Gutter Guard.
This homeowner in Cincinnati chose IKO Dynasty Granite Black shingles, her roof is also protected with KRS Sealaron XT Premium Ice/Water shield and KRS Velora One Synthetic Underlayment.
Unfortunately, the home seen here had succumbed to the effects of aging. Missing shingles, discolored shingles, water leaks, and warped sheathings was enough cause for concern. We replaced the roof The Klaus Roofing Way by cleanly stripping the shingles, replacing all ineffective sheathing, properly installing weather-resistant underlayments, and nailing all the shingles down flatly. The result was a happy homeowner who gained some peace of mind.
